tablescapes

anthropologie table setting tool

Oh gosh, I could spend hours days playing with Anthropologie's new tabletop design tool. What a fun way to browse through their table collection. Bravo, Anthro, you have me loving even more of your dishes and creative marketing.

closets & books

I love an apartment or home tour that shows bookshelves and closets. These two things are like private little spaces that we so rarely get to see. You can know a lot about a girl by how she keeps her closets and what books she keeps on her shelves. This space is from the stylish apartment of Laura and Diego Garcia as seen in Vogue.

pillows with a twist

Loving the textures on these fringe-y pillows from cb2. The would be an easy and affordable room to add texture to any room.

layered looks

lauren santo domingo shelves

Oh. Em. G. I can't stop peeking at these layered bookshelves in the home of Vogue's Lauren Santo Domingo. The shelves looks well used and I love seeing people with books. I am a book person, and I am suspicious of anyone who is not!

herriott grace cake pedestal

Get your wallets ready ladies and gentlemen, because Herriott Grace just announced that a shop update is coming tomorrow. Nikole Herriott updated her flickr stream with a few photos of the new cake pedestals and they are gorgeous as usual.

a home office

bekka's home office space

i'm totally obsessed with the office / studio spaces of other designers and artists and i'm pretty sure i'm not the only one who likes to get a glimpse. seeing where people create is like peeking into people's minds. so, i thought i'd share a few images of my home office, which is currently in the dining room. it's difficult to get good light for taking photographs of the space, so they turned out a bit grainy, but you can get the gist.

a house fit for a doll

dollhouses from curbed

I have no idea how I missed this rad project earlier this year, but Curbed messengered dollhouses to prominent shelter magazines and asked them to decorate the mini homes. Named Operation Dollhouse this project is right up my alley as I have been a dollhouse lover since childhood!
