ikea cookbook photos

My personal design motto should be "Give me grids, or give me death!" I mean, what is life without order, right? I always find myself coming back to these very orderly food shots for the ikea cookbook styled by Eveline Bratell, photographed by Carl Kleiner.

I find food to be extremely difficult to photograph well, but apparently Sang An does not share my sentiment as he has a stunning portfolio of food styling + photography. I love how many of his food shots are designed upon a grid. Speaking of grids, if you are in the web design business and haven't yet picked up Khoi Vinh's new book, I suggest you do so!
