I found this old Anthropologie catalog on my desk yesterday when I was cleaning out some files. Stunning background with a beautiful dress... I think I kept it around for a reason.
I tried experimenting with a homemade bokeh filter in the daylight. These filters are usually reserved for night shots, but I love the dreamy effect it has on scenery, plus who doesn't love a heart frame?
Yesterday, I took a nice long photo walk after lunch. I took about sixty shots during my walk but this was the only one that I ended up liking. These palms look quite lonely in that big bright sky, but at least they have each other.
Happy Summer Solstice! I'll leave you with these colorful photographs by Oliver Schwarzwald from his Colors project with Hugo Bruls.
Speaking of summer, don't forget today is the last day to enter the What does Summer mean to You? Style.Play.Work.Shop!
I have been working day and night to prepare for the launch of my online shop at Poppytalk. The summer handmade market went live today and includes these handmade papier-mache balloons that I have been working on. Take a peek and check out all of the other amazing vendors at Poppytalk Handmade.
